A useful match without your inbox
The matcher does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or a free-form message.
Information used to calculate a match
Your selected business type, country code, team-size band, budget preference, technical-comfort level, software categories and priorities are sent to the recommendation endpoint. SoftwareMatch stores these selections, a randomly generated session identifier and the resulting product scores to measure and improve the matching service.
Outbound-link analytics
When you follow a vendor link, SoftwareMatch records the product, destination type, country code supplied to the matcher and random session identifier. This allows aggregate click reporting and affiliate attribution. The site does not create an advertising profile from these events.
Hosting and security logs
Cloudflare provides the hosting and may process technical request information, including IP addresses and security logs, under its own service and privacy terms.
What it does not intentionally collect
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Free-form message content
Cookies
SoftwareMatch does not currently set its own advertising cookies. Affiliate providers may apply their own tracking after you choose to visit a vendor, subject to that provider's notices.
Changes
This notice must be reviewed again before email collection, advertising cookies, expanded profiling or another material data-processing purpose is enabled. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice.
